Nano Banana 2.1 questions
How is Nano Banana 2.1 different from Nano Banana 2?
Nano Banana 2.1 is a separate model now available through our existing image service. Both support 1K, 2K and 4K. Nano Banana 2 remains available on its own page; choosing 2.1 sends your request to the new model.
Can I generate images without uploading a reference?
Yes. Submit a prompt for text to image, or upload reference images with instructions for image editing. This workspace accepts up to four references.
How many credits does a generation use?
A successful generation uses 14 Nano Bananas credits at any resolution. Failed generation does not consume site credits. Sign in before generating; your existing balance and image history are shared.
Is there a web search switch?
This page provides prompt, reference image, aspect ratio and resolution controls. The current service interface does not document a web search parameter, so no search switch is offered.
